Matthew Sweet will soon be touring through the Northeast and we are looking for volunteers to help make these shows a success. If you are interested in being a street team member to help distribute posters and fliers in your hometown, please email: matthewsweetteam@gmail.com

Here are the details:
1. We will give volunteers a free pair of tickets.
2. If you are interested, please notify us as soon as possible, street team slots are very limited and it is first come first serve.
3. The subject line must start with your city (very important) and please only select cities listed below.
4. We will provide you with artwork for flyers and ask that you print them for distribution.
5. You will be notified if you are selected to join.

Matthew's episode of "On Canvas" will air in the NJ, PA and DE regions on Thursday, May 10th at 10pm and Sunday, May 13th at 4:30 PM. The link of the entire program will be online sometime during Friday, May 11th at www.whyy.org/oncanvas From their website,

The Tour Dates page was just updated with new West Coast dates in April.

Also added to the current 2012 shows is a June 21st show at Harbor in Buffalo, NY. This will be a co-headlining show with Built to Spill. Matthew will be the first performer, but that is subject to change.

One Track Mind

The Onion's A.V. Club launched a new video series, One Track Mind, dedicated to conversations with artists over a single song. The project, which began in October and will run for 10 weeks, will also air some of the web shows on IFC. Matthew's segment for One Track Mind is available now on the One Track Mind website. His segment will also air on IFC on 12/3 and will be repeated several times that week as well.
